It’s widely believed that the Whites stole most of their ideas from the Blacks — Africans.
If you’re born in Ghana and you don’t know who Kweku Ananse is, then you were probably born on Pluto.
Kweku Ananse is the antiquated version of American Spider-Man, a fictional superhero created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditk.
Well, rapper Medikal who now wants to be called ‘Don Medikal’ has revealed the only difference between Kweku Ananse and Spiderman.
According to him, the only difference between them is branding.
“Never joke with your image, the only difference between Kwaku Ananse and Spider-Man is Branding 🕷”
Traditionally, Kweku Ananse is seen as a trickster. The word ‘Ananse’ means spider in Akan, but the character is sometimes portrayed as a man.
Folk stories of Ananse originated from the Ashanti tribe in Ghana and have been passed down from generation to generation.
So Medikal means to say that Ghanaian Kweku Ananse and American Spiderman are both Spidermen. However, American Spiderman is more popular and rakes more money because of branding.
