Jah Phinga aka De Gongman born Woelin J Segbefia is a Multi talented artist from Ghana (West Africa) who majors in Reggae/ Dancehall and Afro Pop although he loves listening to all genres of music and his repertoire includes drawing and painting.

Born in the Volta Region of Ghana, his musical journey began at the age of 11years and has since become the best version of himself and his music has become a million in one with diversified style because he is the truest extension and expression of himself.

To his credit, he has 50 singles which includes local and foreign collaborations with top notch Dancehall acts with the likes of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Yaa Pono, Di Three and IHenry from Portugal. His song ‘One World One People’ which features IHenry from Portugal did earn him a nomination in the 2017 All African Music Awards, AFRIMA.

He has earned nominations for several awards schemes and currently has to his credit 3 awards at Volta Music Awards 2020 edition including artist of the year.

Jah Phinga is presently signed to Native World Ent. an International record label based in Dubai and is clearly and fearlessly creating a trademark for himself and his homeland Ghana and is working tirelessly on his new EP (Extend Play) which is coming before the end of July.
